This is a tiny little entry just to keep in touch! Keane found the broom today while I was cleaning and thought he'd join in on the fun! So sweet! He was really going at it for a while. Pray for Laine. He's at a worship retreat in the redwoods. There are some really great and inspiring guests. It's really great for Laine to receive instead of lead and to have an opportunity to grow! Pray for protection as well since it's a 5 hour drive. AND, he had a little bit of an allergy outbreak when he first arrived. He used their soap they provided and broke out in hives just in the first couple hours of being there! Poor guy! He's all healed now and enjoying himself! A beautiful shot of good ol' Nor Cal skies (something we don't get to enjoy much down her in So Cal) while enjoying his conference!

Excited to tell you about one of my favorite diapers.... Groovy Guitars OS Pocket DiaperI love this diaper! It's a handmade diaper from Etsy from a shop that isn't going anymore, unfortunately. But, there are still some really great companies on Etsy that sell some awesome diapers! Why do I love it? It's a great fit! The fabric of the outside shell isn't your typical manufactured feeling bulky material. It's very flexible and the inner fleece feels so good like my favorite comfy pants! Plus, it's so cute!! The buttons have a double flap in the front that is too complicated for my son to figure out how to undo (so far...). Cons about the diaper- leaks! It isn't built for heavy wetters. It only lasts for at most 2 hours. But I like to change out the insert for a thicker one if I need something a little more dependable. My handsome model was kind enough to do some modeling in the diaper for me! Hope you enjoy the view ;) I have more diapers to talk about, so check back for more diapermania craziness!
Blessings! Boy-OH BOY! Has our child been expressive! Keane has become more than usually in love with his Praise Baby movies! He loves to play with the boxes, leave them laying all over the place and trying to put the DVD in the player. Then when we do let him watch it, he gets all giddy and actually watches if not all of it, most of it. He also has been not eating as great as he used to. Dinners are the worst!! This whole week, dinner has been a fail and I've had to remake something special for him. Quinoa and chicken-NO, orzo pasta and pork sausage-NOPE, fried rice-UH-UH! BUT! he likes all the ingredients that are in fried rice, but will only eat it individually. Not when it's all cooked together with seasoning and soy sauce! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!! I'm pulling out my hair in frustration. I'm trying to get this kid to gain some weight and his food rejections are not helping!! SOMEONE HELP!!! ANY IDEAS ARE WELCOME!! He can't eat chicken fingers, apple sauce and toast everyday!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr... he does like smoothies too, which helps a little. We put spinach with some fruit and juice or milk. Here's a fun picture of our little cutie at the Dr.'s office! The waiting room was empty (for once) and I was bored playing dress up with his accessories! HE'S SO STINKIN' CUTE!!! Our Roku remote has been missing for at least two months now. We kinda gave up hope and stopped searching for it. Well, the other day, I busted out the crock pot to make some yummy slow cooked BBQ southern ribs, and there was a nice surprise waiting for me! Gotta hand it to Keane on this one. Definitely a creative hiding place. HA! Smart cookie ;)
love, love <3 SO SORRY!! It's been a little while since my last entry. Things have been a little...crazy- to say the least. BUT, I do enjoy my little blogging updates! It helps me reflect on how blessed I am!! Things that have happened since the last entry:
After Keane was feeling better, we got to take a little day trip to Orange County and check out the Great Park. It's pretty awesome! They have free carousel and hot air balloon rides!! And plenty of roaming room for a curious toddler!! EASTER!!! AND LAINE'S BIRTHDAY!! ALL IN THE SAME DAY!!! I did a little decor along with Easter baskets and birthday gifts! We had a nice day at church. Keane had his first egg hunt, but really didn't care at all about the eggs. He did show interest in one, I put it in a basket, and he just walked around with the kids the rest of the time! HA! Then we went to a friends place for dinner. We had a delicious ham and lots of other good stuff!! It was a great day!! Yesterday we had a few family hours to spend together at the park. A little pic of our niece! She had a fun photo shoot and this is a sneak peak! A little fun trying on dads house slippers. xox so sweet Hope all our friend and family had a blessed Easter! I will make sure to not have so much time go by before my next entry!!
Love and blessings xox |
